About this tool

This adds a visual signature, an image of your handwritten or typed signature, to the page. Many everyday documents (rental forms, consent letters, invoices, internal approvals) accept this kind of simple electronic signature.

It is not a certificate-based digital signature that proves the document has not been changed. Contracts that legally require an advanced or qualified electronic signature need a dedicated signing service. If in doubt, ask the person requesting the signature which kind they accept.

Good to know

  • Creates a visual signature, not a cryptographic digital signature.
  • Does not fill PDF form fields.
  • Signatures are added as images on top of the page.

Frequently asked questions

Is a signature added this way legally valid?

Simple electronic signatures are accepted for many documents in most countries, including the UAE, UK, EU and US, but some contracts require advanced or certified signatures. Check what the recipient accepts. This is not legal advice.

Yes. Draw your signature with your finger in the box, then tap the page preview to place it.

Is my signature stored?

No. Your signature exists only in this browser tab and in the PDF you download.
