About this tool

The difference is counted in calendar days. Tick "Include the end date" when both the first and last day count, as for hotel nights or leave days. Weekdays count Monday to Friday and do not exclude public holidays, which vary by country; in the UAE, the weekend has been Saturday–Sunday for government since 2022.

Adding months keeps the day of the month where possible; 31 January plus one month gives 28 (or 29) February.
