    About this tool

The title and meta description shape your search snippet. The canonical tells search engines which address is the main one when the same page is reachable at several URLs. Open Graph tags (originally from Facebook, now used by LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack and others) control the title, description and image in link previews, and X cards do the same on X.

Use a 1200 × 630 px image under about 5 MB for previews. After publishing, test with the Facebook Sharing Debugger and LinkedIn's Post Inspector, which also refresh cached previews.

    Good to know

    • The preview is an approximation; each network styles cards differently.
    • Your image is not loaded in the preview, for privacy.

    Frequently asked questions

Which meta tags matter for SEO?

The title tag and meta description (for snippets), canonical (for duplicates) and robots (for indexing). Keywords meta tags are ignored by Google.

Why does my link preview show the wrong image?

What size should an Open Graph image be?

    1200 × 630 pixels (1.91:1) works across Facebook, LinkedIn, X and WhatsApp.
